Get out of your brain and into your body! Embrace the precarious pleasure of not needing to know what’s coming next! Lead with audacious hope, despite the inevitable disasters laid out in the play and get yourself into the trouble the playwright is asking for! Using a mix of physical acting exercises and theater games, Acting As Play will strengthen each student’s ability to listen, play without shame, be generous with others (and themselves), all while exploring contemporary and classical monologue and scene work.
